Car Haulers
As part of the track conversions and logo changes we are also adding car haulers. Any driver in the ASA series can paint his own car hauler and submit it to be put into the tracks. In NASCAR 2003 the car haulers are not in the actual track dat file. They are in the shared folder. This means that they don't need to be added when the track dat file is put back together. That is why Bristol, Richmond and Martinsville are the first tracks being edited.
We are looking for drivers to make thier own car haulers. There currently are 2 driver haulers and I have made both. They can be viewed and downloaded below. To make your own hauler download one of the bmps file below. You can then use paint shop or adobe photoshop to modify the file and then send it back to me. Do not change the name of the BMP file in any way or it will not work. Several other infield vehicles are also being edited and can be downloaded on this page when they become avalible.
****UPDATE**** I have found a much better way to put car haulers into the games. I will soon have zip file avalible which will have the car haulers for each track. The old way would put the haulers into your shared folder and this would affect all tracks.
To install these into 2003 goto your NASCAR 2003 directory. Then Tracks folder. Then your shared folder. Simply put these mip files into the shared folder and NASCAR 2003 will use them instead of the normal files. There is no dat or ini files changes. Click here to download full zip

Car Hauler BMP's that can still be painted are listed below. If you plan on changing one of these let me know so I can add your name next to the file so others don't try to change the same one. There is a template for car haulers that can be used in paint shop pro or adobe photoshop. I do not remember where I downloaded this but I give full credit to that site. The credits for the people that made the template is in a black box on the top. Simply delete that layer to start working on the template. The easiest way to change things is start with the bottom layer and add decals and change colors. For those that don't know much about layers and painting you can contact superd46 and he might make yours if you give a description of what you want. Click here to download the hauler template for PSP or Adobe.
