The MORLracing.com ASA series has the option of using a special car file. The ASA series uses Ford, Chevy and Pontiac cars. One this page you can find the painting differences between an ASA car and a NASCAR. Also on this page you can find templates that can help you build your own ASA car. The car files are to be named MORL_ASA_XX.cup.car. The XX stands for your car number. The cars are to be sent in to superd46@yahoo.com. The deadline for submitting cars is August 20th this is a few weeks before season 3 when the ASA series will offically start.
Making an ASA car is optional if you are in the other MORL series. Since the MORL already requires an IROC car and an open series car it would be a bit much to ask the drivers to switch between 3 cars. However all drivers are encouraged to make one.
A ford and chevy paint shop pro template can be found at nascarnet. I'm still looking for pontiac. If you do a search on nascarnet for ASA in the NASCAR 2003 section you can find a bunch of real ASA cars for N2003 that were made. The templates come with front light and rear lights, grill, logo's, and a few other details. Since it is in layers when you use paint ship pro you can change color, add number and decals without hurting the template. When your done just select to merge all the layers and save it as a tga file. Put that into your import/export folder in NASCAR 2003 and then in the game paint shop import the tga you made and everything should match up. With layers and templates car painting is actually fairy easy. Just make sure you know your cut and paste.

The Front grill is different as well as the car seems wider. This isn't just a zoom or angle difference. I've compaired my cars on the track and it looks different. The back end also looks higher and more like and ASA car. The person that made the templates for the ASA car turely did a great job creating those effects. |

These are default ASA sponsored cars. Drivers can use one of these cars and receive $5,000 per week in there finacnces. Drivers who go bankrupt will be foced to use one of these cars.
